Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef star in this spaghetti Western directed by Sergio Leone. During the American Civil War, the paths of three dangerous loners - bounty hunter Blondie (Eastwood), bandit Tuco (Wallach) and mercenary Angel Eyes (Van Cleef) - cross as they search for a fortune in stolen Confederate gold hidden in a grave. Blondie and Tuco do not trust each other but are forced to work together because they each only know half of the information they need to locate the gold. Meanwhile, the ruthless and sadistic Angel Eyes is also searching for the treasure and as the three men race to reach it, their fates will be decided in a legendary three-way duel.
