Raizô Ichikawa stars in this double bill of Japanese crime thrillers directed by Kazuo Mori. In 'A Certain Killer' (1967) Shiozawa (Ichikawa) is a chef at a sushi restaurant with a secret: he is also a skilled assassin. He is hired by a local yakuza family to kill one of their rivals and completes the job but his life becomes complicated afterwards. Maeda (Mikio Narita), a low-ranking member of the family, seeks to become his apprentice and a mysterious woman called Keiko (Yumiko Nogawa) flatters her way into his life, threatening his future. In 'A Killer's Key' (1967) Nitta (Ichikawa) is a dance teacher and assassin who completes a job only to discover that the people who hired him are now seeking to kill him. After surviving an attempt on his life, he swears revenge and begins his relentless pursuit of his enemies.
