1. About Very Imported Pictures

Very Imported Pictures is a specialist online retailer of physical media — Blu-ray, 4K UHD, and limited edition releases — with a focus on UK imports and international collector editions. By placing an order with us you agree to these terms and conditions in full.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

To place an order with Very Imported Pictures you must be at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to cancel any order where this condition has not been met.

3. Orders

Once your order has been placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this within a few hours.

If your order contains a mix of in-stock items and pre-order titles, the entire order will be held and dispatched once all items are available, unless you contact us to arrange a split shipment.

If an item becomes unavailable or is found to be defective at the time of packing, it will be placed on back-order and shipped to you free of charge when stock is replenished. You will be notified by email.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion. You will of course receive a full refund if this occurs.

4. Prices & VAT

All prices are listed in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect orders already confirmed.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the website. In the event of a pricing error on your order, we will contact you before processing your payment.

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 Domestic (Sweden)

Orders within Sweden are shipped via DHL (tracked). Delivery time is typically 1–2 business days after dispatch.

5.2 International

We ship internationally via PostNord (tracked). Shipping costs and delivery times may vary by destination. Exact costs are calculated at checkout.

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their country. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

5.3 Delivery Address

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct and complete. Valid identification may be required when collecting a package from a DHL service point.

5.4 Uncollected Packages

If a package is not collected and is returned to us, the customer will be charged a fee of 250 SEK to cover return shipping costs. This applies to both domestic and international orders.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. The following payment methods are accepted:

•       Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)

•       Debit card

Payment is charged at the time of purchase. Card details are encrypted and are never stored by Very Imported Pictures.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders that we suspect are fraudulent. Fraudulent orders will be reported to the relevant authorities.

7. Region Information & Format Compatibility

Very Imported Pictures specialises in UK and international import releases. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the product is compatible with their playback equipment before purchasing. Please read the following carefully:

Blu-ray Regions

•       Region B (most common in our store): UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa. Requires a Region B or region-free Blu-ray player.

•       Region A: North America, South America, Southeast Asia, Japan. Requires a Region A or region-free player.

•       Region Free: Plays on any Blu-ray player worldwide.

4K UHD

All 4K Ultra HD discs are region-free and will play on any UHD Blu-ray player. Please note that the standard Blu-ray disc included in a combo pack may carry a region code — check the product listing carefully.

TV System (PAL / NTSC)

UK releases are PAL format. Most modern televisions and players support both PAL and NTSC, but we recommend verifying compatibility if you are purchasing from outside Europe.

We do not accept returns on the basis of region or format incompatibility. Please check before you buy.

8. Return and refund policy (14-Day Return Policy)

As a private consumer purchasing online, you have the right under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen) to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at veryimportedpictures[at]gmail.com before the 14-day period expires. We will then provide return instructions.

Conditions for Return

•       The item must be returned in its original, unopened condition with an unbroken seal.

•       Once a disc's seal or plastic wrap has been broken, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (in accordance with the Distance Contracts Act, which excludes sealed audio/video media once opened).

•       The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

•       Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

Limited and numbered editions that have been opened cannot be returned under the standard withdrawal policy, as they are sealed media. If the item is defective, see Section 9.

9. Defective Items & Complaints

We guarantee that all items are in perfect condition at the time of dispatch. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us as soon as possible — and no later than 14 days after receipt — at [EMAIL].

Before contacting us regarding a region-related playback issue, please verify that your player is compatible with the disc's region code (see Section 7). We cannot treat region incompatibility as a product defect.

For confirmed defects (e.g. wrong disc in case, missing disc in a box set, physical damage), we will:

•       Send you a pre-paid return label

•       Replace the item once the return is received, or

•       Issue a full refund if a replacement is unavailable

If an item you received does not match the description on the product page (e.g. wrong number of discs, incorrect subtitle languages), you are entitled to return it at our cost. Please report any discrepancies within 14 days of delivery.

10. Pre-Orders & Limited Editions

Very Imported Pictures stocks pre-orders for upcoming releases, including limited, numbered, and collector editions.

•       Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase.

•       Release dates are provided by distributors and may change. We will notify you of any significant delay.

•       If a release date is moved and you no longer wish to proceed, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before dispatch.

•       Limited and numbered editions are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of an unexpected allocation reduction from the distributor, we will contact affected customers immediately.

•       Product images, packaging, and special features for pre-orders may not be final and are subject to change by the distributor.

11. Stock & Availability

We make every effort to keep stock levels accurate, but in rare cases an item may become unavailable after your order is placed. If this happens, we will contact you promptly by email and offer either a full refund or the option to wait for new stock.

We reserve the right to limit quantities on any product, particularly for limited edition releases, to ensure fair access for all customers.

12. Personal Data & Privacy

Very Imported Pictures handles your personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Swedish Data Protection Act (Dataskyddslagen). Your data is used solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order, and is never sold to third parties.

13. Reservations & Disclaimers

•       We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions, images, or pricing at any time.

•       Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the final product, particularly for pre-orders.

•       We are not responsible for delays caused by delivery, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

•       We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms, or any purchase made through Very Imported Pictures, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.

As a consumer based in Sweden or the European Union, you also retain any mandatory rights afforded to you under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act (Konsumentköplagen) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen).
