Sixth instalment of the slasher horror franchise which serves as a prequel to 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (2003). In 1969, brothers Eric and Dean (Matt Bomer and Taylor Handley) are driving across the country with their girlfriends Chrissie and Bailey (Jordana Brewster and Diora Baird) before they enlist to fight in the Vietnam War. When they are involved in an accident, they cross paths with Sheriff Hoyt (R. Lee Ermey) but he is not who he appears to be. He takes them to the Hewitt house where they come face to face with unimaginable evil in the form of Thomas Hewitt (Andrew Bryniarski), a terrifying, chainsaw-wielding killer intent on leaving none of them alive...
