Adam Marcus directs this ninth instalment of the slasher horror franchise starring Kane Hodder as the eponymous killer. After Jason is killed by the FBI, his soul possesses the coroner processing his body and he is able to escape and begin the search for his last living relatives. Only someone related to Jason by blood can kill him permanently but he can use them to return to life and regain his power. Bounty hunter Creighton Duke (Steven Williams) is determined to stop Jason once and for all and he hopes to persuade Jessica Kimble (Kari Keegan), the daughter of Jason's half-sister, to help him send Jason to Hell. The cast also includes John D. LeMay, Steven Culp and Erin Gray.
