Sylvester Stallone writes and stars in this action drama directed by George P. Cosmatos. Lieutenant Marion 'Cobra' Cobretti (Stallone) is a hardened LAPD officer assigned to protect Ingrid Knudsen (Brigitte Nielsen), the only witness to a series of brutal murders. After multiple attempts are made to silence Ingrid, Cobretti suspects that there is an organisation behind the crimes rather than an individual, but his superiors do not believe him. As Cobretti and his partner attempt to lay low with Ingrid, they are targeted by the members of the violent cult responsible for the killings who will stop at nothing to eliminate their target. The cast also includes Reni Santoni, Brian Thompson and Lee Garlington.
