East German revisionist Western directed by Josef Mach. When Tokei-Ihto (Gojko Mitic) of the Oglala Lakota tribe witnesses the death of his father at the hands of Red Fox (Jirí Vrstála), a white criminal, he becomes locked in a fierce battle for the survival of his people. Red Fox is convinced there is gold on their land and he will go to terrible lengths to possess it but Tokei-Ihto in turn will do whatever is necessary to maintain his people's freedom. The cast also includes Hannjo Hasse and Hans Finohr.
