Val Guest directs this swashbuckling adventure produced by Hammer Films. When news reaches Robin Hood's men that the King is being held prisoner in Austria, bold knight Will of Gamwell (Don Taylor) disguises himself as the legendary outlaw to rally the people of Sherwood and raise the ransom. Also included in this collector's edition is the rarely seen Wolfshead: The Legend of Robin Hood (1973), an earlier, grittier take on the same myth. The cast includes Reginald Beckwith, Leonard Sachs, Eileen Moore and Douglas Wilmer.
