Mike Nichols directs this comedy drama starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross. After graduating from college, Benjamin Braddock (Hoffman) returns to his wealthy parents' Californian home unsure of what he wants to do next. Feeling pressured to get on with his life, Benjamin escapes into an affair with Mrs Robinson (Bancroft), an older, married woman and friend of the family. The pair meet regularly but the situation becomes complicated when Benjamin falls in love with Elaine (Ross), Mrs Robinson's daughter. The cast also includes William Daniels, Murray Hamilton and Elizabeth Wilson.
