Japanese supernatural horror directed by Hideo Nakata. Yoshimi (Hitomi Kuroki), a recently divorced working mother with a history of mental health struggles has won custody of her five-year-old daughter Ikuko (Rio Kanno) and moves with her into a new apartment. However, it isn't long before strange occurrences begin to plague their home. The ceiling leaks incessantly and when the ghost of a small girl in a yellow dress starts to appear, Yoshimi's already precarious grip on her sanity gives way completely.
