CRIME | DRAMA | MYSTERY | ROMANCE | THRILLER

Richard Gere stars in this crime drama written and directed by Paul Schrader. High-end male escort Julian Kay (Gere) offers his services to the rich and unsatisfied women of Los Angeles. Paid well for his efforts, he enjoys an extravagant lifestyle until one of his clients is found dead. When he is identified as the main suspect, he realises that he is being framed. However, he is unable to prove his innocence because the woman he was with on the night of the murder refuses to risk her marriage by giving him an alibi. As he awaits trial for a crime he did not commit, can he escape his looming fate? The cast also includes Lauren Hutton, Bill Duke and Héctor Elizondo.
